I wonder if anyone can help me, I have PPI on a secured loan and and in the needs and demands one of the reasons they thought their policy would be suitable is due to hospitalisation payout, if you go to hospital for 7 days they pay for 1 month and then daily. But in the small print it says this part of the policy only applies to 65 to 70 year olds ( i am 38!) I was told on another site this could be mis selling but wonder if anyone here can confirm or advise.

You need to think back to the point of sale and think about how it was sold to you. Other things might help to build your claim such as being told you could have a loan if you took out PPI also. There are loads more points to consider also.
If you were told the hospitalisation payout was a good reason for you taking the loan and its not applicable then I would say you have ground to go for mis-sale of policy.

Re: Demands and needs query
Hi pinknico,
You are in the right forum and in here there is lots of info about mis selling and the reasons for it.
Have a read and then you will have a rough idea of the procedure for claiming back mis sold PPI.
There should also be some letters that even if they do not fit your situation exactly you can amend to suit you.
Hope this helps for now and please ask if you need any more help Enaid x

I am also waiting for a reply from Future Mortgages for mis selling / unfair rebate.
Have a look at these for a laugh.
Good look with the claims also.

It reminds me of those comedy signs in shops that say "Credit only available to those over 90 years old if accompanied by both parents."
Did they seriously suggest that you needed this cover, despite knowing exactly how old you were?
It is about the most blatant incidence of mis-selling I have ever seen.
