Hi.. I was wondering if anyone could help me?

I have a ppi claim nearing compleation with lifestyle and a gather they have gone into liquidation.
Been having a number of calls and forms sent to me asking me to sign a new contract with redhawk legal.

1. Am I obliged to sign this new contract?
2. If I dont.. willl the claim still go through ?
3. Do I still have to pay redhawk if I DONT sign their contract?

Please help??

Hi and welcome to Legal beagles.

You raise a few interesting question.

1. No you are not obliged to sign new contracts.

2. Yes contact the company who your PPI claim was with immediately- advise them that Lifestyle have gone into administration and tell them that they should be dealing directly with you as YOU DO NOT have a contract with Redhawk and you are not signing one either.

3. NO you do not have to pay Redhawk, YOU DO NOT have a contract with them and they cannot force you too.

You paid presumably an upfront fee to Lifestyle Claims, they went into Administration, you cannot be forced to sign new contracts.

These are my views only, if you are unsure please seek legal advice.
