  • Rip of britain - bbc on cmc's taking credit card details

The consumer magazine Which who were on the 'RIP OFF BRITAIN ' programme have advised that if a CMC takes money from your credit card and does NOT provide a service, you have recourse under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act to appeal to get your money back through your credit card provider.

My niece is employed by Smd Exchange and they have advised her to go round her family first. This will according to them, help two-fold, she will gain easy experience pushing their product and the family will benefit. All sounds a wee bit free lunch tae me. I'm sorry to put this here but I can't find the link to post.

I would discourage your niece from having any dealings with SMD Exchange whatsoever
