    Re: Dukeys PPI problem

    Thank You Puff!!

    So my problem is:-

In Late September 2010, i submitted a PPI claim to a London based CMC. I wasnt even sure if i had PPI policies on anything, but since around 2002, ive had many Credit Cards, and since becoming a home owner in 2004, theres been many many loans and remortgages. So i thought it was worth a try!

All loans were always settled early (usually with the new loans or remortgages), but there were defaults and late payment charges on the Credit Cards only.

I sent everything i had to the CMC, and they have been less than helpfull!

I have chased via email, left messages on their phone, but very little contact. I think ive had 2 responses in all.

I have read other posts on here that the MOJ are also less than helpfull when it comes to complaints, so dont know what to do nor where to go from here.

Is it worth me asking them to just forget it?? And instruct someone else? Is there anyone i can complain to? Im fed up of waiting to hear if a) i am eligible to a refund and b) if i am - i want my money!!

Your help would be appreciated. :-)

      Re: Dukeys PPI problem

      Hello there

First of all from what I am aware of you need to complain to the CMC company, the MOJ will not intervene unless you do this first.

I have never used a CMC but I take it it will be like the same procedures/timescales as if you were complaining about a ppi reclaim complaint to a bank/business.
So they should confirm delivery of your complaint by 5 to 10 working days, and resolve by 8 weeks as from the date they received your complaint.

If the CMC do not resolve this by then, or if you hear nothing, you will have to notifiy the Claims Regulation dept, and send them any copies of your complaint info to them, tell them your not happy with the way your cases have been dealt with and you feel badly let down.
State that if nothing is done, you will take this matter further.

Hope this helps for now, but meanwhile hopefully someone else will have some suggestions for you here too.

      Good luck.

        Re: Dukeys PPI problem

        Hi Dukey

Which CMC are you using? It's absolutely fine to mention the name.

        Cel x
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Re: Dukey Dog - CMC not reclaiming PPI

As Cel has said let us know which CMC you are using and if you can let us have some more info chapter and verse such as was it from a cold call, did you pay upfront fee and how much did they charge. When did you engage them to do this for you. have they kept you informed of their progress so that we can advise you better.
