Have just been contacted on my OHs mobile by ETA Claims they rang last night too but was busy so I just cut them off. This time the chap gave their name and cut himself off lol.
Anyway did a google as you do and found this

Also these people have had many complaints as you can see in their announcment at the top of their contact details

well then, talk about my home phone being plagued by marketing calls

i get this lot above phoning me AT WORK and asking for me by name and talking about ppi refunds

the number i managed to get out of them is 0161 4781179 but is permanant engaged

i will give even money thats a rented phone line service

anybody got a phone number for these maggots as they are getting a DSAR OFF ME TO FIND OUT WHO GAVE THEM MY NUMBER

There is a scam currently doing the rounds involving an outfit calling themselves "Accident Investigation Bureau". Only problem is, there is a real business called Accident Investigation Bureau, based in London, that investigates accidents of varying descriptions, and the guy who owns it is getting GBH to the earhole from people ringing him up. In any case, he deals, mainly, with other businesses, not consumers. Your experience sounds like the same ones doing the Accident Investigation Bureau scam.

Just run a check on the number quoted. It is a Manchester number and the line is allocated to Talk Talk Communications Limited, i.e. Carphone Warehouse. Unfortunately, there's no information as to whom Talk Talk have rented the line.
