As a follow on from my previous thread I have received a response to my SAR from Lowells. They have sent documents from when they took over the debt at the end of 2021. Unfortunately I wanted to know the situation on the account before they took it over. They say they cannot supply an itemised statement.
During going through some documents while sorting out my affairs I have found an annual statement from ODEM servicing for 2021, so I have been able to work out from my bank statements how much I should owe. Lowells are saying I owe over £500, my figures put it at £150.
As I said previously I had ask for them to write the debt off on compassionate grounds because of my condition but I am unsure if the SAR documents sent to me are what is expected? Or should I be asking for them to check the balance on their records?
