  • Total newbie , need help with a claim form

Hi , thanks in advance for any help I receive
I received a claim form dated 13 Jan 22 , iv just found and opened it today , its with mortimer Clarke solicitors and was originally an aqua credit card, the amount is for £3336.10
iv had a quick read through some posts on here but i dont understand a thing , i read that since it was sold on I could ask to see proof of this as my contract was with aqua, it's all really confusing and everyone on here seems to know the jargon , do I go down this route or just acknowledge the debt and try and agree a payment amount, I also have an old overdraft of £3500 with Lloyd's that hasn't got this far yet , I'm scared iv been stupid and thought would go away since was years ago and now I'm in a mess
