          Got it - you've won!

I know the letter is a bit confusing but the second paragraph confirms that they've cancelled all the claims and invoices. The third paragraph where it says they are 'unable to uphold your complaint' only relates to the £150 compensation we suggested for the stress & inconvenience. The 4th paragraph is standard text in their complaint responses, which doesn't apply to you.

There's nothing further you need to do now.

          Well done!

Lovely result! Well done to you for a fair result and great advice from EXC along the way

"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
