  • shall i cash ppi cheque in

Hi! I got a cheque for a mis-sold PPI policy about 3 days after I filed a online court claim at the end of July 19. I think it was a coincidence that they paid out on one policy just after I filed the MCOL claim.
I am claiming on this policy and 3 others in court the PPI policies are all from the 1990S.
The cheque expires at the end of JAN 2020 shall I cash it in if it hasn't already been cancelled as I m not sure when the summary judgement will be. with the Bank and its 1980 limitation act etc being used against me, do you think I should try and cash cheque? if I lose at court I might not see another one.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush do you think?
