Long time no hear. I hope everyone is well.

Does anyone know what the new regulations mean for past payday loans?

Any help would be appreciated.

My friend worked for a payday loan company last year. They were all laid off because of the new regulations posted by FCA. Im reading the article now, thanks

The new regulations aren't really relevant to payday loans taken out before that date any more. You have either repaid the loans or you are in default on them.

However what may be relevant to you is whether you can get any compensation / redress for older payday loans that were either mis-sold or where the lender handled your situation badly if you got into trouble. See http://debtcamel.co.uk/more-payday-refunds/ for more information.
