I hate the way society has changed so that the weak are exploited and the people doing the exploiting are praised for their business acumen. Interest rates in excess of 49% were unenforceable as being usurous until the 1970s and we should return to this or do better than our unenlightened forebears.

says it all, does it not

Totally agree with you Militant. Its always the Toffee nose *******s that get the praises sung, despite that fact they rip off and exploit the rest of the population and don't bother to do their bit to help pay of the countries debts that they flaming caused in the first place, but expect ordinanry people to cut back, pay more taxes (by the way theirs talk of VAT going up to 25%) all whilsts refusing to allow themselves to be taxed more!

If they increase VAT anymore like has been mentioned, then they can kiss goodbye to the exportation sector as companies simply would not be able to compete, with other foreign countries like china, that don't have such high amounts of Value added tax, lower production costs and material costs and therefore able to sell at much lower prices!

Boris has sorted everything out have no fears, to get us in business with India he wants students to come over here and attend our universities. Does he think when they have milked our benefit and education system they will stay here and help us to progress cause I don't. I can't get my head round these bloody stupid ideas I really can't
