Also do you think the £500 will be F & F settlement? I would be happier if they would just say that but they wont and will not send me anything else they said.

I think you would be quite safe making your payment on someone else's card, they have no contractual authority for repeat payment with the other person.

Do QQ hve an online chat facility? if you could get confirmation of the FF on there you can either take a screen shot or i think you can download a copy of the conversation.
