  • United Kash on behalf of Different Money

Just some advice please. I've just received a text completely out if the blue from united Kash threatening me with a CCJ over a different money loan. I couldnt even remember taking this loan and so I asked them to send me a copy of the signed contract. They just did and it's dated 2/11/2014. My question is, can they still chase this debt after 6 years? I've heard nothing at all from them since then! I want to know my rights before I respond.

So UK are a debt collector . Who was the original loan with?

I think the details of the loan are important, when was it due to finish, did you make any payments, did they send you a default notice- or are you denying ever having had a loan?

I don't deny taking the loan but I don't recall what repayments I jade (if any) as it is no longer on my credit record. The loan contract shows it was to be repaid over a 6 month period.

The original loan company was Different Money, who haven't existed for quite some time by all accounts.
