quickquid portal seeking current bank

Quickquid have a claims portal I was told twice claim submitted then told it was not. They are wanting current bank statements showing current employment details and household transactions. This has no bearing on a statued barred debt and their lending decision 8 years ago I feel this is data harvesting and or an excuse to reject and reduce pay outs. Debtcamel forum has others saying refused submittal due to requesting sensitive fiscal details ie explicitly a bank statement that shows employer and household transactions. Anyone know if legally Quickquid / Eurocashnet can do this ?
