  • MyJar refund

    Evening all,*

I had a ridiculous amount of small payday loans with MyJar from 2012-2013, I opened a case against them using the resolver tool and to cut the story short they have sent me a final decision upholding my complaint with a refund payment of 1600 being offered.*

However I've just thought will this payment be classed as unearned income and be taken off my universal credit payments?*

I am a stay at home mum to my 1 year old and her father works part time studies part time, therefore we receive universal credit as a low-income family.*

Does anyone happen to know if this refund should be declared and if so will the UC taper rate be applied to this,*

    Thanks in advance!
