have been chasing halifax re hardship claim since dec 08 meet hardship rules on several counts have 2492.00 incharges over six years hseemave not taken court action need help with this recieved offer on 10 feb of 994.00 but this would only bring my account 50.00 in credit as i have over 500.00 of charge sincemarch 2006 tofeb 2008HELP

That looks like an offer of around 40%, which is better than some, worse than others. What does their offer letter actually say? Are there any terms you can negotiate with them to up the offer or not? What steps have you taken with them to actually get to this point?

Although your account would only be £50 in credit, at least it would be in credit, better than being overdrawn.
