    Err can't find it right now but that is right and if you think about it the complaints handling waiver just wouldn't work if stays wernt in place as people would just go directly to court. This is wht the FSA are so keen on the banks reporting the success of stay applications:


    (9) the firm must update the
    FSA regularly about its efforts and success (or otherwise) in obtaining (and maintaining) stays of relevant proceedings in the courts of England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland;
