My grand daughter found she had a CCJ against her in August 2016. She successfully had this "set aside" in May this year as the debt was fraudulently taken out in her name. The magistrate awarded costs £255 against Lowell Solicitors to be paid by 23rd May. Despite several conversations with Lowell's the costs have not yet been received. They did originally send a cheque , which they "accidentally" forgot to sign. Every time my grand daughter contacts them they say they will send out a replacement. However , today, they claimed not to be aware that the CCJ has been set aside nor to have received the original email she sent in June with a scan of the unsigned cheque attached. This is causing my grand daughter immense stress. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in anticipation.
