  • I got a CCJ set aside and now i need to file a defence with Lowell

    Hi all,
I need all the help you can give.
In January 2011 i got an internet sim from Three mobile. It was my second month here in UK and i didn't know that it can be a contract. I was not happy with the services and I cancelled the direct debit. In February 2017 i made a tenancy check and i found out that i had a CCJ claimed by Lowell in Jully 2016. They served the notice and the claim on a wrong address so i set it aside. But now i need to file a defence because thedebt was 60£ but they are asking for 460£ with all the interest and penalties. I never knew about this debt, i have a contract with Three mobile for my phone with no problems.
How can i defend myself? What should i say?
When i set aside the CCJ their lawyers said that they served the letters correctly but i never signed for any of them, or saw any of them.
And by the way theyr lawyer asked for 100£+ in expenses for the day when I applied to set aside.
Please help, I appreciate any advice.
    Thanks
