How guys I've been getting chased by a company called Advantis. I've had phone calls and letters and texts for about 3 months now. Apparently HM revenue say I owe them almost £800 from overpaid tax credits from years ago. Although I have not heard this officially from HMR.
Reading advice on here Ive just totally ignored them. But I have just had a letter through the doors saying I have 7 days to contact them or they will send the dept back to HMR saying they will start legal proceedings or a visit by a HMR officer to seize my goods and sell them off in auction. And that he will show up unannounced.
Any advice on the steps I can take? I'm already struggling to live with the money I make and can't afford to pay this to them.
