I have not lived with my wife for 16 years. She now lives in Scotland whilst I am in London. Apparently she got a parking ticket which she did not pay and eventually passed to confero by hey then wrote to her at my home some months back. I passed this onto her and was told that she would deal with it. She said they told her they contacted this address as she did not respond to any letters and this was her last known address. However it seems she has not dealt with it because yesterday they called at my home whilst I was out and left a removal warning letter addressed to her. I tried calling the agents number and left a message saying she did not live here but they didn't contact me back. Just what can I do if they turn up again. I know from reading not to answe door etc but legally can I get them off my back. It's nothing to do with me. Please give me some advice I'm at my wits end Thanks.

Re: Confero collections
I do apologise for not responding sooner but I have only just seen your question.
I am struggling to understand why Confero would be writing to you regarding an unpaid parking ticket that appears to be the responsibility of your ex wife. In almost all cases, the enforcement company may only attend the warrant address. This address would be the one where the vehicle is REGISTERED with DVLA.
Is her car registered to your address?

Re: Confero collections
No. It is a notability car registered in Scotland. They said as she had responded after letters sent here and not at her home address that's why they came here. She only responded as I gave our daughter the letters to give to her. As far as I know they have written to her in Scotland. Thank you for your reply.
