Hi I'm disable and have big problems at the moment with the nerves and knee joints . I'm due for an op on my nerves Monday. I was driving and had driven for about an hour back to where I live . I was coming from a 40 mph zone to a 30 mph zone and started to get cramp there was now where to stop until about 200 yards up the road . when the fine came through the post I explained all this to them. And the fact that I'm a disable person living alone and on benefits if I had this fine it would take in further in to financial crisis as its hard when you dont get a lot of money . i asked if I could pay so much a week and they , said this office will not invervine . I can take the points and fine , or go on a course and pay 100 pound which I don't have and can't get any help with . I could go to court to dispute it but if I loose I will have to pay costs and it wasn't even a police van . I explained that I stretched my leg to get rid of the cramp above my knee . and I know they have heard every excuse in the book . but this is real reason I dont speed and use my cruise control on the motorways . what happens if I take it to court ? Help please I haven't got long to say what I'm going to do thanks
