i called rossendales on monday and now they said i could pay in 2 instalments, this is after thy have added £225 to the bill but they refused previously saying it was not possible. this must be their tactic just to increase the fee. I refused to pay the extra dn as yet have not made any payments. i emailed their complaint dept to see what they have to say.

im also going to the council this morning to update them and see if they will do anything

i spoke to the council just now and they were surprised they did not accept the 2 offers of payment. i told them i have made a complaint to rossendales.
they advised me to make half of the original payment whilst they look into it, which i have just done now to rossendales. incidentally rossendales have a put a hold on the account for 28 days whilst they look into it and this means no more visits for the time being.
