arrow global confused who is who?

Letter recd from westcot advising they are acting on behalf of arrow gl...Barclays....never read notification from bcard advising debt sold to arrow or arrow advising debt passed to westcot....then I recd automated phone call voice message on landline....
landline is a new phone number ex directory not given to anybody....would like to know how the got hold of my ex direct number...I never give my phone number out...
not had any communication from bcard for 5yrs....very strange
i did cca request over 5yrs ago to bcard they cannot provide cca...

Should I start cca request again...any advice many thanks

An legal assignment notification is made 'under the hand' of the assignor. (Refer to Law of Property Act 1925 s136)
