Today I received a notice of pending legal action dated 2nd Jan from Howard Cohen solicitors. It says...
Client - HPH2 LTD (ex Barclaycard)
We have been requested by our clients agent Robinsons Way LTD to write to you regarding the above outstanding debt.
Unless acceptable proposals for paying the amount you owe are received within 10 days of the date of this letter, we are instructed to issue proceedings in the county court with a view to obtaining a CCJ against you.
I'm really panicking because I have been avoiding sorting the issue for some time and Robinsons Way have sent me several letters. Also because he later says 10 days and although it's dates 2nd Jan, I only got it through the post today.
I recall having the Barclaycard and am pretty sure I owe the money but not sure what best to do next.
Any help really grateful appreciated.
