  • Claiming PPI after being discharged from Trust Deed

    I have been discharged from a Trust Deed and have had a letter saying I have been successful in reclaiming mis sold PPI yet the money is going to the Trustees.Can anyone give me any advice please.

      Scottish bankruptcy law is different to England/ Wales in that although a Trust Deed has been discharged the AiB can still claim financial assets after the formal discharge, even many years after apparently. I spoke to the AiB their self and they confirmed the latter. There is also a Scottish law to this effect (statutory instrument).
