  • Andy , please help

Hi am looking for some debt advice. I have an old overdraft £6000 that I got into difficulties paying. I stopped paying then I made some attempts to pay it again. The last being July 2011, I got various demands mainly from dlc debt recovery however today I received a letter from shoosmiths solicitors saying I had 14 days to pay or they will go to court and get a decree. This will include an inhibition. I am from Scotland, can anyone offer advice as I still can't pay debt

    Thanks in advance

Do you have other debts as well?

Have you tried making a new arrangement to pay monthly?

        Hi Andy
If you are in financial difficulty then it is up to you to offer an amount you can afford not simply struggle to meet a payment they insist on. You work out what you can pay and even if it is £1 write and make the offer by recorded delivery. Be honest when working out a payment you can keep up.
