Re: Bryan Carter please please help

i had taken a phone out for my daughter.. i tried to sign up for online services but it just told me constantly there was an error so i rang orange to be told theyd get their tech guys to look into it... couple of weeks went by and i still couldnt sign up for online bills etc... so of course i was being charged for paper bills!!! i rang them several times over a few weeks to be told theyd look into it but never heard back from them so tbh i just stopped paying the bill because why should i pay when i cant actually use the full service of being able to check my usage etc online???

thats basically why the debt came about... they kept saying theyd get tech guys to look into it but never did... do i write that on my defence? because i thought that might be seen as me admitting to the debt in which case theyll pursue it???
im lost. really sorry, i really appreciate all your helps <3

I'm guessing what has happened is that because you ceased payments because the
service did fully work you have been charged a cancellation fee.
Ok as to admitting liability always refer to the alleged debt.
You can use the unresolved dispute in your defence, you do not
acknowledge any liability for the alleged debt as the service was
not as advertised and the original creditor failed to rectify the fault.

Take a look around the forums at some of the defences posted on
similar threads, it'll give you a good idea of format and content make
a draft and post it here and we can go through it with you.
