You only get ccj if you default on the instalments says in the notes

Are you sure?
Perhaps NI is different now, but I understood it was the same as in England & Wales where if you admit liability and offer instalments the court Issues its judgement (CCJ) and sets the amount of the instalments.

Yes, if you return an admission form the claimant can request judgment by admission as per CPR 14.4(3). :sad:

It's only when you settle via a Tomlin order then you don't get a CCJ unless you default on the instalments.

That means the CCJ is issued and recorded on the register, but cannot be enforced unless you default on the instalments.

The word refers to both situations, obtaining a CCJ constitutes enforcement of the debt as opposed to all the other actions stated on McGuffick v RBS which do not. A CCJ isn't much good to the claimant if they still don't get paid so they can enforce the judgment in various ways, which is further enforcement.

I rang them and paid it today going to admit liabilty on their website and say i paid it

I have just filled in the liabiltiy form on the ni court service website and said that its all been paid so that is that one all done
