Business rates for Limited company.

Hi I've had a visit from a bailiff from Equita this morning. It's for a limited company which is no longer trading but they visited my home address. I am currently on low income and have 3 children under the ages of 16. Can they cease my household belongings for a debt belonging to a limited company. The debt was for business rates. The letter is addressed to the limited company with my home address. Advices please.

No they can't seize your items for the company debt. Are there any items in your home belonging to the company?
