Hi

Can anyone point me to a thread, or forum, where i can get advice about dealing with charges for arrears, from Acenden or mortgage companies in general.

The FCA have announced just a few weeks ago, that SPML and Preferred Mortgages will have to refund certain charges back to the consumer. Litigation Management Fees, Repossession Management Fees; etc.

To reclaim write a letter to Acenden Mortgages Servicing Solutions
St Johns Place
Easton Street
High Wycombe
HP11 1NL

The administrators for Acenden are:

Price Waterhouse Cooper
33 Wellington Street
Leeds
LS1 4JP

I would suggest that you write to both by recorded delivery, just in case Acenden or PWC deny any knowledge that they hold any documents on you.

With us, when we requested documents from PWC, the letter said that our documents had been destroyed. Even though the statutory period for holding on to them is 12 years for a mortgage, and 6 years for an unsecured loan.ad
