  • ccj and a liquidated company.

Hi guys, please can somebody help!! I recieved a ccj in december 2009, i have never heard anything regarding the ccj apart from it appearing on my credit file. Recently i have been trying to get my self straight with my finances so i contacted the county court to find out who to pay. I learnt that the company that i owe has since gone into liquidation, so i was told to contact the solicitor who acted on their behalf. They also told me their client had gone into liquidation and they have not acted on their behalf for at least two years, i was also told at the same time a administration company were dealing with the liquidation of the company. My question is where do i stand with repaying the ccj, it is due to drop of my credit file in 7 months is it worth contacting the administration company?

Sorry, forgot all about posting that. So will the court set the ccj aside or do i need the solicitor to write to the court?

You will have to apply to the court for the CCJ to be set aside pay the fee, and give your
        reasons for the application.
