  • paying back overpayment of DLA

    Hi can anyone help?
last year i had an appeal against a claim for over £1000 of Dla payed to me as I was seen carrying a music stand across a road and playing with a band.
in that appeal they went as far back as 2004 stating that when i had a treadmill test i walked on that for over 5mins and could therefore walk at that rate all the time, they didn't take into consideration how i was after that test or any future tests that carried out, and that i had duped the doctor who came to examine me at home. the debt owed would then revert back to that date and that the debt increased to over £21,000. I am now asked to pay back that debt from my ESA and quite frankly it's putting me in finacial hardship. What can I do? Is there any Help out there to end this suffering, I have Ischaemic Heart Disease, Cervical spondulitis, Arthritis, Diabetes, unstable Angina & Depression and it's really stressing me out PLease anyone?
