Ppi with Ace/Express gifts limited

Hi, I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone has had success with claiming back ppi from them?. I have had a final response saying that they were not regulated before jan 2005 so they can not take on my case.i opened the catalogue in October 2000 unknowingly to my self they added ppi plus property policy??? What ever that is?. In 2000 I was a single parent with no income so I know it was Mis sold as if asked I'm sure I would not of met their criterias. I am wondering if anyone has been in this situation who can advise me further thank you.
