        Re: Statutory Barred Debt

NO, I don't think that would be a BACS payment, BAC's = Bank Automated Credit, CC payment usually identify as Card Payment.

If you haven't changed banks in the relevant period or made a payment across a bank counter then dispute the payment along the following lines.

        To The DCA,

        Ref: use theirs:

        Sir/madam,

I refer to your letter dated........................: in regard to the alleged debt for £.......... which you claim is owed by me.

I reiterate my previous statement that the alleged debt is statute barred and no payment will be made.

I have checked my bank records carefully and there is no trace of the alleged payment.

Given the information above if wishes to continue to pursue the alleged debt it must provide me with Unequivocal Proof that any such payment was made the following data Must be provided.

        1. The Name of the Bank via which the alleged payment was made.
        2. The account No. and the sort Sort Code of the paying bank.
3.The name of the person who deposited the payment.

As you must be fully aware vague, unsupported claims of a one off payment is not proof
that any such payment was made by me, you are reminded that the onus of providing unequivocal
proof that any such payment was made and actually paid by me falls entirely upon your client unless
such proof is provided Lucas/Hillesden within 7 days from the date here on I will consider the matter
        closed.

Use signed for post and check receipt.
