Hi I have received a court claim and have defended for a barclaycard from several years ago ,from dca Cabot .
i have sent a Cca request and have received a Unsigned copy with t and c attached
what do I do now ?

the Cca copy etc was actually from barclaycard , I have checked on noddle and the card number on the agreement is different to the credit file ?

i don't know the next step

any advice would be much appreciated :tinysmile_aha_t:

What did you say in your defence?? When did you submit your defence? Have you heard from the claimant whether they wish to proceed with the claim?

Is there any chance you could remove your personal details and post up what they've sent you? Account numbers often change when debts are sold on.

If you have submitted your defence, there isn't much you can do until the court sends the directions questionnaire which will just say it will be allocated to small claims (if under £10k) and ask some basic questions, followed by directions from the court.

It would be good to see the CCA just to see how good (or bad ray it is. :typing:

the cca is a print off directly from barclaycard it is a clear copy . I'll upload it later for yiu to look at .
my defence was hinged around the cca and sar requests
the court originally sent a letter to tell me they were allowing Cabot another 28 days
to locate the cca , then they would inform me of the next process .
i recieved a letter from Cabot staying they have now supplied the cca and they are to proceed however they ask if I can call to try to make an arrangement to pay by installments
