Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum and would like some help please. I've received a letter addressed to me at an address I've never lived at. The address is my parents address, but like I said, I've never lived there.
The letter gives a 'previous address' which is the address I currently live at. It says ' We wanted to write to you at the previous address noted above ( my actual address), but have been provided this (my parents address) as a new contact address. If you are the person named, please contact us'.
I think I know what it is about as it seems Robinson Way are a debt collection agency. The debt is a loan I had in 2010 with Alliance Leicester, now Santander. I haven't paid anything off this account for at least 3 years.
Why have they written to an address I've never lived or been registered at ?.
Sorry it's long winded, but any help would be greatly appreciated
