A lady I care for has received a letter from Restons about a credit card debt for £1480 with Tesco Personal Finance.
The date of default was 21 November 2019.
Intrum emailed her throughout 2021 and she asked them to provide proof of debt, proof of transfer, proof of default, and the CCA. Intrum did not provide any evidence whatsoever but continued to pursue her.
She has heard nothing until now.
The letter from Restons says they will issue a letter of claim if they don't hear anything.
She's had a very bad panic attack over this.
I have written to Restons and to Intrum to tell them they didn't provide any evidence.
But unsure what to do now.
