    Hi. No I live in Wales. If I remember correctly the debt was for shelving in a family business we had at that time.

      It does sound like the solicitor is fishing to find out your new address so they can apply to court. If they had searched the property register they would have seen the house has a new owner
      My advice is to keep the letter but do not reply to it.
