Irresponsible lending

Could someone please explain how I go about making a complaint about my overdraft, it’s something I’ve lived with for years, the charges are ridiculous and the bank has never offered support. I’ve seen other people say you can claim the were irresponsible when lending?

Thank you, I have sent an email and the bank want to phone me, is it advisable to speak to them or best kept in writing?

I prefer everything in writing!
If you do speak to them, confirm the conversation in writing immediately afterwards.
