Compensation overpayment

I'm very sorry I do have to make a new thread as there was a confusion and my question was deleted.

I'll be brief.

Ex employer claims to have over paid and I am currently filling in the defence forms.

I was awarded compensation for the severe injuries caused to me by the ex employer.

If I am ordered to pay can they take money from the compensation or is that protected?
