Hey guys
so in January 2018 we found a leak in the house.
We instructed a local company to come out and have a look at it.s9 the first night he turned and removed a claypipe to get to the leak which was under ground. Approx time was 1 hour.
Joe called me at work and gave me 2 options to fix the issue and we went for the cheaper option. At around £300 .he came back on the following Tuesday and connected a new 15mm flex pipe via a speed fitting. Came out of the hole and c9nnected above ground to the existing stop tap and connected again with a speed fit. 3 hours total work plus 2 speed fit connectors and 7 meters of pipe. After work competing i ask for invoice to pay and over the next 6 to 8 m9nths I still didn't get a invoice or contact from Joe. We had a 8nvoice turn up in 2020 for a cost of £669. I ask for a full breakdown of work placed on a new invoice but still received nothing. Yesterday we had a final invoice of still the same price of £669 with no breakdown and giving us 7 days to make payment. It is 1 month away from being 5 years since work was completed. How do I stand guys ?
