  • Lowell Deny Receiving Letters

I have a number of debts with Lowell that I am working through. What is making things more difficult is that Lowell deny receiving letters from myself, 4 in total this year. I made a formal complaint to Lowell following the first two occrrences. It was frustrating they concluded they had not received either letter dispite one being a request for information under the consumer credit act that was sent by signed for delivery (recorded as received) and a £1 cheque that was cashed.
Now Lowell have denied they have received a further two letters!
Has anyone else had this issue?
I am going to contact Royal Mail and will raise a further complaint with Lowell. Any other suggestions would be welcome. Thanks.

    Hi ANDC

Unfortunately DCA's like Lowell's tend to do what suits their agenda. So you can do the the right and proper thing, they will try to make it as difficult as they can.

Send Lowell's a SAR, they have 30 days to provide all the data they have in your name. Make sure you get Proof of Postage.

Once you've complained to Lowell's you can raise a complaint with the CSA - https://www.csa-uk.com/
