hi please, can someone help me or advise me on what to do!

I had a Vanquis Credit Card back in the early 2000's unfortunately after losing my job a few years I ended up defaulting on the payments.

fast forward a few years Vanquis land me a CCJ now in 2011 I think the CCJ disappears before the 6 years to be spent, and now looking to make a purchase of a nicer car I have been hit with this notice on my credit file of Arrow Global stating I now own hem the money for a debt they state started in 2011...

please can anyone tell me what to do after a review of my finances I can't afford this or even a new car but I'm not sure do I pay this off or not!

    Hi Sadda

    a) You need to check if a valid CCJ exits, that can be done online, costs £6,

    c) Because they have a CCJ, the debt won't go away,

    b) but Arrow Global has to go back to Court to reactivate the CCJ as they have left several years between the CCJ and now. This isn't straightforward for Arrow Global.

So unless Arrow Global come up with a good reason for the delay, the Court might tell them to 'jog on'.

Write to Arrow Global, ask the to remove it from your credit file, explain that if they don't, you will lodge a Formal Complaint with the ICO.

Update the thread when they come back to you.
