          Anyone could suggest what's best???
          Thank you

As advised by Mike don't mention the PPI.

Post your defence on this thread, remove all personal details, so it can be checked.

....also I have just realised that they did not provide the date of this agreement so have changed point 6***
"The Claimant's Particulars of Claim fail to state when the agreement was entered into."

The Statement of Truth at the very bottom needs to be replaced with the following:

“I believe that the facts stated in this Defence are true. I understand that proceedings for contempt of court may be brought against anyone who makes, or causes to be made, a false statement in a document verified by a statement of truth without an honest belief in its truth.”

                    Otherwise it reads well.

Regards the clock resetting after a PPI claim, I don't believe that is the case.

What now? Do I wait? How long does it take?

slow down defence received so now up to the other side if they respond if not within 28 days case gets stayed (shelved until if ever they pay to unstay it) , no more to do unless hear from the court.

You will receive a Directions Questionnaire, which needs to be filled in and returned, it's advisable to accept the offer of mediation. Fill it in carefully.

Can't give you time lines (highlighted), this all depends on variable factors. You just need to be a step or two ahead of the process.

                              Thank you for your help.
Actually, today, received letter stating that they have received my Defense and now waiting for the other side to respond (28days). It says that they (Lowell) can contact me directly to resolve this matter...hmmmm

Hello, so I think I have lost this case.
I have just received the email from Lowell's solicitors.
They have found the agreement from 2007 (I think my PPI claim made it easier for them to obtain it ,as I recon the bank had to find it too to proceed my claim).
Anyway, they also sent me some transactions stating I made £1 payment in July 2016 I don't remember doing it ,but how do I prove it???
They want me to pay lump of sum (£200 less than the debt amount) or full amount in monthly payments...
What should I choose? Should I negotiate the amount? I have two kids and not earning much...also the PPi claim I made...does this count? Bank gave me noney back, saying it was an mistake....ohhhhh I dont know...please advise something!!!!
