Debt Management Plan

Hi all,

I've been back and fourth with my creditors and a debt collection agency trying to freeze my interest and offer them token payments while I try to figure out a situation where I can pay my debts but i'm still struggling to get a consistent income to make regular payments. How long should I wait before I enter into a dmp? Either diy or through a company? Thanks
