vulnerable and fines baliffs etc

hi there
looking for some advice on the best course to pursue regarding my fine for a speeding offence>im classed as vulnerable due to suffering from depression and anxiety,today i had the baliff turn up which as not helped with my situation. I understand from this link that i can have the baliff action with drawn due to my situation and health issues by approaching the court directly the magistrates court is sheffield,from experience fines officers at court tend to simply not understand the facts regarding this.Is there a body i can contact directly regarding this m,any thanks ian

Vulnerability issues have changed a lot over recent years and each Enforcement Co should have its own Welfare Team to help deal with this. No two cases are the same and each has to treated on its own merits. Essentially if you cannot deal with your own affairs because you don't understand what is happening then you may be looked upon as being potentially vulnerable. This in itself does not extinguish the debt being chased but the Bailiff fees may be fixed at just £75 regardless of visits etc.

Your best course of action is to contact the Enforcement Co and make a claim on vulnerability grounds but you must also submit proof/evidence of this so it can be taken into account. If you are unable to do this yourself then you could ask someone to do it for you.
