Continuous card payment

So paid an outstanding loan ie settlement before doing so they made one pound transaction Why when paying advisor said policy end of made payment account should be closed they did not tell me they had set up CCP and charged one pound all unorthodox surely this is a breech spa icowhy set up CCP without informing you and charging a pound. payment was approved and paid no outstanding balance very annoyed distrubed if I had not of checked Elderbridge could dip take payments from card for clarity I agreed card details for one off payment
