    Hi everyone*

Hope someone can help me with the following problem.

Years ago both me and the missus started paypal accounts we both at the time shared one email address for bills etc so one account was set in her name using .googlemail.com and one in my name as .gmail.com both accounts shared the same home address the only differences were the following name / debit card details / and on my account i did setup a withdrawal bank account (we had joint bank account)

Her account was used for ebay and mine was used if i wanted to order something that was just easier with paypal online.

Skip forward a few years and the missus account got into trouble and was in negative balance,* we were unable to pay so the account got locked (as we can no longer login) and the debt has been passed to lowell.

During this time i have been using my paypal account fine as a buying platform.

Just before lock down the missus was made redundant and to pass time started to sell crafty bits on ebay along with some personal items the payments for these went into my account.* We managed to sell £600 worth of stuff to help us through the covid pandemic as she was no longer earning money and i was furloughed.

So i added the joint bank account to my paypal so we could put the money into our bank.

At that point paypal refused the withdrawal as my account was linked to another and i needed to login to the other account to resolve any out standing issue's
Tried to login and account is locked (as i said) spent weeks speaking with paypal to allow me in to my missus account to resolve the issue but was just going round in circles.

Im now left with a payapl account (mine) that has £600 in and its been that way since before the lock down,* they are holding the money ransom and asking me to contact them via phone to speak with collections but like i said this matter is now in the hands of lowells who are chasing me for the amount.

Any idea what can be done,* if i'm honest we could really still use the money past few months have been a nightmare

    Cheers
