  • Cca request

    Hi all
If a debt has been sold on from the original creditor several times can the last purchaser of the debt go back to the original owner and ask for the agreement. So for example there have been 4 purchasers of the same debt, 1 sells to 2, 2 to 3 and 3 to 4. The debtor asks 4 for the agreement under cca and 4 cannot supply the agreement. So 4 asks 3 for it. 3 informs 4 they cannot supply it. *At this point would 4 be able to ask 1 or 2 or can 4 legally only ask 3*

I wouldn't ask any of them, just tell the current creditor if he doesn't produce the CCA you won't pay.

      *Hi luxardo*
I am aware of the point you make. Just wondering *legally what options purchaser 4 has to acquire the agreement under a CCA request

nothing to prevent him from asking any of them for it, I doubt he will have much success though if the original debt was a long time ago

*remember once you request one then after 12+2 days it is outstanding and not enforceable, do not remind any of them.
